Step-by-Step Instructions
1. Muddle the base
Cut 1 lime into wedges. Divide the wedges between 4 glasses. Add to each:
- 2 tsp brown sugar
- 3 mint leaves
Gently muddle (crush) the mixture using the back of a spoon or a cocktail muddler to release juices and mint oils.
2. Add the rum
Pour 2 cl (0.67 fl oz / about 1⅓ tbsp) white rum into each glass. Stir well until the sugar is fully dissolved.
3. Add strawberries
Cut 16 strawberries into quarters. Place a few strawberry wedges in each glass and lightly crush them with the spoon to release flavor.
4. Ice and mint
